About Next Chapter Alpacas

Randy and I started checking out alpaca ranches around August 2006.  We just fell in love with these beautiful creatures, so we we bought two proven females, a Suri and a Huacaya, which had their cria's March 2011.

Currently we have 20 alpacas with 3 cria's born in 2019.

Within our funny farm we also have three barn cats, one horse, four miniature donkeys, and two cats that will go into our "farm store."  The other two other cats with jobs that are not yet defined; maybe two more barn cats.

Our alpaca farm is located at 4290 Maass Road, Burton, TX ( 20 minutes from Brenham).

Benefits of Alpaca Farming

Alpaca farming makes it easy to fall in love with these beautiful alpacas., Suri's and Huacaya's.

Alpacas is a livestock business. The tax benefits apply to an alpaca farm as to any other farming operation.
The alpaca lifestyle is suited for  families and for anyone who appreciates beautiful animals and fun playful nature.

Why Alpacas are the Best Ever

Alpacas are bred, to the highest quality for the alpaca standards for generations to come.

Alpacas are registered with the Alpaca registry, and with a lineage verified through DNA testing.

There's nothing like the beauty of a Suri Alpaca in full fleece, with locks swaying like exquisite jewelry.

Incan Royalty considered Alpaca fiber the "fiber of the gods." It's soft, strong, and warm, which can be felted, crocheted, woven, and knitted.
